OIA Takes Part In The Acd Summit In Bangkok
OIA has participated in the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit (ACD), which was held recently in Bangkok. HE Mohammed Bin Al Zubair, Adviser to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs, headed the Omani delegation among other officials.
OIA was represented by Mulham bin Bashir Al Jarf, Chief Investement Officier, while other members comprised of Sheikh Yahya Bin Abdullah Al Fanah Al Oraimi, Head of Economic Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry, HE Said Bin Saleh Al Kiyoumi, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry., besides a number of government officials and businessmen.
The summit was organised under the theme ‘One Asia, Diverse Strengths’. The summit discussed opportunities and fields of cooperation among the member countries in a bid to convert Asia to one society that can interact with the rest of the world to ensure more prosperity and welfare to Asian nations.
A forum for businessmen was organised during the summit, in addition to discussion panels on the financial link and innovation among the Asian countries, as well as discussing aspects of strengthening investment activities and businesses in the future economic sectors in a bid to achieve sustainable development.
