Al Murshidi receives Jewels of the Muslim World 2016 Award

Kuala Lumpur: HE Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Executive President of Oman Investment Authority (OIA) was conferred the Jewels of Muslim World Award 2016, in recognition of his achievements as one of the Top Movers of the Islamic Economies. The award was presented by the Malaysian Minister of Finance at a formal ceremony in the Malaysia capital Kuala Lumpor last week.

The award is sponsored by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and is organized by the Malaysian international business and investment magazine, OIC TODAY. It is presented every year during a special ceremony, in conjunction with the official launching of the annual leading trade exhibition and conference The Muslim World BIZ - Business and Investment Zone.

Every year during the event, ten of the movers and shakers from around the globe receive this prestigious award to honor their contribution to different aspects of people's life. According to Award organizers, this year, H.E Abdulsalam Al Murshidi has been recognized as one of the great leaders whose achievements are salient and acknowledged by everyone.

 It's worth mentioning that The Jewels of the Muslim World Award is seen to signify and profile the outstanding industrialists and community leaders for their efforts in boosting economic as well as social ties among the Muslim countries, in addition to amplifying the constructive understanding between these countries and the rest of the world.
