OIA participating in linking higher education institutes with public and private sectors.

 OIA is participating in the event of Linking Oman's Higher Education Institutions with the Public and Private Sector, set to take place between 7-9 May 2017 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, organized by SQU in cooperation with various government & private sector institutions. The event was opened under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakeri, Minister of Manpower with the attendance of other government officials.

 The event aims to create an ideal environment for closer cooperation between various stakeholders in strategic sectors, and engage community members and representatives of academia and the public and private sectors in dialogue about Oman's current challenges and opportunities and how these impact upon national development. Since OIA is a main player in the investment domain, OIA set up a dedicated booth in the accompanying exhibition manned by a number of employees who are interacting with attendees and present a clearer picture on the nature of SGRF's business conduct, while the Human Resources department also showcased their latest training and employment programs aimed at attracting promising talents.

 It worth mentioning that 70 government institutes participating in the event, including 32 units from Sultan Qaboos University, 20 higher education institutes, and 18 other government institutes where each institute showed its services and roles in matching the needs of the market and the output of the higher education. OIA presented a clear picture of its business nature and applied investment procedure through its well manned booth in the exhibition.
